Watch the video below for a quick walkthrough.
Before you deposit
Make sure:
your wallet is connected to Flipper;
you have enough of the asset you want to deposit;
you keep enough SOL in your connected wallet to cover Solana network fees and any account-rent requirement shown before confirmation.
Important: Even if you are depositing USDC, USDT, wBTC, or wETH, you still need SOL in your wallet to complete the Solana transaction.
If you are depositing SOL itself, do not deposit your entire SOL balance. Leave enough SOL in the wallet for network fees.
Steps
Open Flipper Perps.
Select Deposit in the upper-right corner.
Select the collateral asset you want to deposit.
Enter the amount.
Review the information shown under Estimated Changes, including:
your wallet balance;
the amount being added to your trading margin;
any protocol fee shown;
the estimated network fee and account rent.
Make sure all details are correct, then select Deposit.
Flipper will prepare the transaction and ask you to confirm it in your wallet.
In your wallet, carefully review:
the asset;
the amount;
the Solana network;
the estimated SOL cost.
If everything is correct, confirm the transaction.
Wait while Flipper submits the transaction to the Solana network.
Expected result
When the deposit is completed, Flipper displays Deposit successful.
Your deposited collateral becomes available in your Flipper trading balance after the transaction is confirmed.
You can also use the Solscan or Solana Explorer links shown after the deposit to view the transaction on-chain.
Network fees and account requirements can vary between transactions. Always review the amounts displayed before confirming the transaction.
Do not close or repeat the deposit simply because confirmation takes longer than expected.
If it doesn’t work
Try these checks:
Make sure your wallet is unlocked and connected.
Make sure you have enough of the selected collateral asset.
Make sure your wallet has enough SOL to cover the network fee.
Check whether your wallet is waiting for a transaction confirmation.
If the transaction was already submitted, wait for its Solana network status before taking another action.
If the deposit was confirmed on-chain but your Flipper balance has not updated, refresh the page once.
Do not submit the same deposit again until the first transaction has been checked.
Security
Before confirming a deposit, make sure you are using the official Flipper application and that the transaction details shown in your wallet match the action you intended to perform.
Never share your seed phrase, recovery phrase, private key, password, or verification codes with anyone.
Flipper Support will never ask you for this information.
