The initial setup requires two separate wallet signatures:
Create account
Enable trading
Both are message signatures. They are free, do not deposit funds, and do not send an on-chain transaction.
Steps
Connect your wallet to Flipper V2.
Select Create account in the trading panel.
Review the setup window.
Approve the first wallet signature to Create account.
Wait until the first step is marked as complete.
Approve the second wallet signature to Enable trading.
Wait until both setup steps are completed.
Check that the trading controls are now available.
Keep the same wallet connected throughout the setup process.
Expected result
Once the setup is complete:
your Flipper V2 Trading Account is linked to the connected wallet;
both setup steps are completed;
trading access is enabled;
the trading controls become available;
you can continue to deposit funds into your Trading Account.
Returning users
If your Trading Account already exists, Flipper may show Enable trading instead of Create account.
This can happen if:
trading access has expired;
you are using a different browser;
you are using another device;
a new trading session needs to be authorized.
In this case, you do not need to create another Trading Account.
Approve the Enable trading signature to restore trading access.
Enabling trading does not transfer funds from your wallet and does not give Flipper access to your seed phrase or private key.
If it doesn’t work
Try these checks:
Make sure the correct wallet is connected.
Check whether both wallet signature requests were approved.
Make sure you did not switch wallet accounts during setup.
If a signature request was rejected or closed, start that step again from the trading panel.
If the account already exists but Flipper still shows Create account, refresh the page and reconnect your wallet.
If an error appears, take a screenshot or screen recording.
If the issue continues, contact Flipper Support through Live Chat or Discord Support Ticket.
Security
Flipper will never ask for your seed phrase, private key, recovery phrase, or verification codes.
Always review the wallet address and the request shown by your wallet before approving a signature.
